  9. Plain text files from PCs mostly have line ends with CR (Carriage Return)
  10. and LF (Line Feed). If you load those files on the Amiga you see (depending
  11. on the used program) strange characters at line ends.
  12. And: the file is a bit bigger then neccessary :-).

  14. Even worse, if your Web-Browser (Netscape !!) doesn't recognize that
  15. LZX-Archives are binary data (this happens very often):
  16. Netscape saves LZX-files as text with CR+LF at end of lines. Because of
  17. that LZX can't dearchive these files !!!
  18. There are also some more file-formats which cause troubles when saved
  19. with CR+LR.

  22. Kill0D removes the CR+LF end-of-files and replaces it by LF. So the LZX
  23. files work again, plain text files don't display strange characters and
  24. get a bit smaller.

  27. Usage: Kill0D File/A,OutputFile

  29. "File"       the file to be "repaired"

  31. "OutputFile" if specified the repaired data will be written to this file
  32.          if not specified "File" will be overwritten.

  36. using this program! If you are not sure if KillD0 can repair your file,
  37. then make a copy of it or specify "OutputFile" in order not to overwrite
  38. your original file!
